Good Morning, World

.
That right there is literally the very first shot of George Romero's weirdo ren-faire and roadies pic Knightriders from 1981. Ed Harris and Ed Harris' tight n fuzzy thirty-year old body, wham. And from there on, the film takes full, and by full I mean eye-poppingly excessive, advantage of him.

I tweeted my amazement while watching the movie, over and over again - you can see a few pictures that I took over there. But listen, he's half-to-fully naked so much in this movie I could never cap it all. Basically, just watch the movie! It's the whole damn thing.

And Ed Harris beauty exploitation aside (and that's a big aside) the film leeringly ogles half the men in it (just wait til you see Tom Savini walking around in a speedo - and yeah, that's capped below too), and there's also an entire gay subplot about a guy whose having trouble admitting his sexuality and the big bushy bearded fellow that helps him out.

Anyway I didn't cap the entire movie but I did cap a choice selection of moments, and you can find them after the jump. It a super fun and strange film, one of a kind, you oughta see it if you haven't already. King Ed Harris commands it so...

And here's Tom Savini in that speedo!

And bonus, here's Gary Lahti in his obscene tights!

The whole universe is telling me to watch that movie. I have it on my watchlist on imdb for few years now. The other day I read a review about the new release on dvdactive.com and saw some interesting screencaps and then you uploaded probably the best images of the movie. How horror is it though? Because that's what kept off for so many years...

I wouldn't call it horror at all, Sal. It really sort of defies genre but it's basically just a drama. With action sequences, and comedy, and leotards.

Don't forget, Ed Harris "jewels" from Swing Shift (1984). Not sure if you can see if on the DVD. But you could on the LaserDisc.
The open matte, gave away the surprise.

Thanks
