Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

you can learn from:

Charade (1963)

Reggie: Well, wasn't it Shakespeare that said,
"When strangers do meet in far off lands,
they should e'er long see each other again"?
Peter: Shakespeare never said that!
Reggie: How do you know?
Peter: It's terrible. You just made it up.
Reggie: Well it sounds right.

Charade came out 50 years ago today!

I Love this movie SOOOO MUCH! But the only edition here was a pathetic dvd with VHS quality and don't let me start with the subtitles (which are inprinted on the film)
And I always felt the Tourist with Jolie/Deep was in the same spirit with that movie. Once can't take it too seriously. Amazing!!!

Charade is a ton of fun. It's basically light Hitchcock, only emphasis on light - there aren't really nearly as many harbingers of sexual weirdness floating about, that I can recall.
