5 Off My Head - Globes Be Golden

Hey guys, you probably know my relationship towards movie awards every year is fraught, terribly fraught - they tend to make me angry more than anything else, so then I pout and pretend I don't care, and then I get trashed while watching them and scream at the screen and on the Twitter. It's a cycle, and it is super fun for everybody. And yo ho it has begun anew! The Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning - you can see them, with Glenn's wise commentary (well except the part about Bradley Cooper being even remotely good in American Hustle), over at The Film Experience. And here are the first five thoughts that I personally had looking through the nomination list.

1. Where's Greta Gerwig?

2. Oh my god - there's Greta Gerwig!

3. Yay Greta Gerwig!

4. But did Greta Gerwig get nominated for her script too?

5. Boo, no. 

But yay anyway!
