Sweetfaced & Superbad

.
It seems kind of wrong to me that Sean Maher has to go to the dark side (aka DC Comics) in order to play a super-villain, doesn't it you? Hello, Joss! Where are ya? While you were off casting the lumpy frumpy ham-bone nightmare that is James Spader as the big bad in the second Avengers movie, a perfectly perfect Sean Maher withered on the vine, dude. And now he's going to play the bad guy called Shrapnel on the Green Arrow television program instead. I mean he couldn't even sneak him into Agents of SHIELD? That place really needs more Whedonites stuffed in the corners, if you ask me. (But don't ask me, because I've still only seen the first episode, I'm desperately behind.)

As for Green Arrow, I know it's a show bursting at the seams with beefcake, but I just haven't gotten around to it. I can't blame Sean for taking one look at that cast and calling his agent and being all, put me on that shit though. I hope he and Stephen Amell have a very nice, very productive time together. (See lots more of Sean here.)
