That was fast! Suspiciously so. I think this news might've been doping. We only first heard about this movie the other day but look at that we've already got our first picture of Ben Foster playing Lance Armstrong in the upcoming bio-pic from director Stephen Frears (via). As that link says the film doesn't even have a title yet.
Anyway Ben looks great there, much better than I could've imagined even. I think I say this every time I see a Ben Foster movie but as I was watching him nail William Burroughs in Kill Your Darlings the other day (that review coming soon, hopefully) I thought to myself, good goddamn Ben Foster really is one of my absolute favorite actors. If he's not on-screen right in front of me I seem to forget about him, but then I see him in something and wham, he blows me away. His work in Ain't Them Bodies Saints is still one of my favorite performances this year. I suppose it's best he fades from view when he's not acting - it's allowed me to keep being surprised by him every time. I hope that can last for awhile.
