I'd fallen behind several episodes with Marvel's Agents of SHIELD until last night, where with a mini-marathon what should I discover but they got Jake Gyllenhaal's BFF Austin Nichols up in there for a hot minute, and I do mean hot, since he had grown a beard and he was in his underpants.

I'm definitely getting into the show by now - the characters have begun to seem more distinctive, and it's having some fun with itself. I laughed out loud a couple of times, which is a good sign for something so earnest. We'll see how it rolls. Til then, here's a bunch of Austin, after the jump...
