Very saddened to hear that Priest and Ravenous director Antonia Bird has passed away at the age of just 54. I certainly don't know the specific story of why she made so few films but like it seems with far too many female directors I imagine she just had a tougher time getting them made than her male peers, which sucks - she was extremely talented.
