I Am Link

.
--- Oh Pair - We don't really know what it's about but Francois Ozon's next movie is going to star Romain Duris, and that's enough for me. Seriously though, Ozon will probably make Romain look really really good (as if that's hard) so I'm there.

--- History Lesson - I still haven't seen The Butler and at this point I am thinking it'll have to wait until DVD, but that didn't stop me from reading this interesting take on the film from the point of view of a civil rights professor and author. He actually made me want to see the movie more than anybody has yet.

--- Rebel Fighter - Hanna director Joe Wright and actor Chiwetel Ejiofor worked together on the play A Season in the Congo earlier this year in London, and now they're turning it into a movie together. It's about "the 1960 Congo rebellion and the assassination of charismatic political leader Patrice Lumumba."

--- Charm Offensive - This interview with Jared Leto was almost enough to get me back on Team Leto after years and years of that membership crumbling beneath the seemingly inexhaustible weight of his douchebaggery.

--- Princess Nic - I'd begun to wonder if Grace of Monaco really wasn't just going to be a perfume ad or something, since the movie's supposed to be out before the end of the year and all we'd seen is a couple of shots of Nicole Kidman dressed up glitzy like as Grace Kelly - well now there's a teaser trailer... and it is mostly Nicole Kidman dressed up glitzy like as Grace Kelly. But in motion now!

--- Geek King - Who would you crown king of the nerds? (Besides Mark Wiener, of course.) Michael's asking the question over at The Film Experience and gives us five worthwhile options, with bonus geektastic Game of Thrones delivery.
