Good Morning, World

.
A happy 44th birthday to Johnathan "The Extra 'H' Is For Humping" Schaech today - hey I didn't know he was in the Kellan Lutz Hercules movie! Let's hope there's some lengthy homoreroticism between the two - I'd pay good money to see that. The above is from Gregg Araki's The Doom Generation, of course, which if you've never seen it, man you oughta. (Schaech's co-star in that movie, James Duval, is also celebrating a birthday today, so a happy one to him.)

And I'll take this chance to remind you that if you're in NYC this month the Museum of Art and Design is doing the first American Araki retrospective and showing all of his work, including the aborted MTV pilot he made. Naturally this thing's happening right in the middle of the New York Film Festival, New York Comic-Con, the Paley Center's New York festival, and The New Yorker Fest, because there are only three weeks of the year for every cool goddamned thing in this city to occur. Sigh.

I was so drawn to his dreaminess that actually saw Hush in theaters. I wanted to swim in his dimples.
