These are from 2005's Four Brothers, which is really the first time I became aware of Garrett Hedlund. Yeah he'd already been Brad Pitt's boyfriend-cousin in Troy at that point, but I was totally full up on Brad in his skirt and Eric Bana in his everything to notice anybody else. But this scene detailed here, this brought Garrett to the forefront. (Oh and there was that time Lindsay Lohan gave him a beej - an acting one! - in front of some paps.) Then he made a bunch of crap, including the Tron movie... but then came last year's On the Road, in which he was absolutely outstanding, and now he's someone I will go out of my way to watch. Indeed he - along with Carey Mulligan - are the highlights of the trailer for the new Coens' movie for me. So happy 29, Garrett! Here's to things to come...
