Somebody remind me when I get back from the long weekend (side-note: posting will be very limited today - indeed this might be it - and then we'll be back on Tuesday) that I've got to do a proper gratuitous post for the Spanish actor Álex González - looking him up over the past twenty-four hours has been fruitful, to say the least. It'll be a biggun! Til then there's a preview of coming attractions, as it were. Up top that's a clip from a 2008 Spanish TV series Lex - TV needs more gratuitous scenes of men scrubbing their bums in close-up, am I right? Anyway if you're not Spanish or inclined towards seeking out Spanish entertainments then probably the only place that you've ever seen Alex is in the X-Men Muppet Babies movie, where he played Riptide.

That's him on the left. He didn't have a ton to do in the movie, of course. But hey, he is sitting two feet away from Michael Fassbender, so who's gonna complain? And I think they have something in common, anyway...
