Good Morning, Armitage

To quote Santa Claus, "That nose! That beautiful, wonderful nose!" No doubt one of Richard Armitage's selling points in landing the role of the lead dwarf in The Hobbit movies was his beautiful, wonderful, quite sizable nose, which foregrounds his actual features under the mounds of Middle-Earth hair and make-up. You don't want to hire somebody who's gonna drown in all that! Armitage does not; indeed he's probably the buzziest thing to come out of the strangely buzz-free return to Tolkien's wonderland. Can't throw a second breakfast without hitting a Richard Armitage picture on Tumblr these days. (Or without hearing the whispers whispers whispers about him and co-star Lee Pace being mighty friendly, either. God I hope that rumor's true, it's such a wonderful visual to have.)
