Well look at that - the first poster for Spike Lee's remake of Oldboy (via) is not really what I was expecting. It's really strange, right? It's very Park Chan-wook-esque, but more I'm a Cyborg But That's OK than the original Oldboy, am I right?
I guess it's just the green and pink that's making me feel that. Whatever the case, looking at that poster I think every single person on Earth's exact last thought would be, "That is a Spike Lee Joint." Apparently we're getting a trailer later this week. Color me curious. The movie's out at the end of October.
