This morning I linked to (and slightly made fun of) some new pictures from James Wan's Insidious sequel, which is out in September. As you might recall I loved the first film (although I'm not unaware there's a big bunch of silliness in the second half), and am excited for this one, even if I wasn't all that crazy about the movie Wan made in the break between these films called The Conjuring (my review here), which is out next month. I don't really understand how everybody from the first film is going to be in this second film, but I'm willing to go with it, especially with Patrick Wilson and his well-fit dad-pants roaming around again. I'm writing all of this not having watched the video yet, in case that wasn't obvious - I can't decide whether to watch it or not. The trailer for The Conjuring gives away a lot, and I'm not sure I need this trailer to spoil any scares for me when I'd buy my ticket to this right now if I could, even though it's not out until September. Eh who am I kidding, I'm gonna break down and watch it. Like probably as soon as I finish typing this sentence...
