Good Morning, Muldoon

.
Hi there, Bob Peck. Bob who, you ask?
Perhaps you know him better as...

Robert Muldoon, short-shorts rocker + dino-hunter!

Shoot her! Shooooooot heeerrrrr!!! As if our fifteen year old self was looking at anything in that scene other than the excessive bulge.

We gave him some love back in April when we were on a big Jurassic Park kick, and now we're on another Jurassic Park kick because tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of that movie.

Twenty damn years, y'all! I saw that movie once every day for an entire week! Back in April of this year it was re-released in 3D and I saw it on a big screen for the 15th time. That's far and away the most times I've ever seen anything in a theater, so I figure as much as I can focus on anything (which isn't very much) we'd go ahead and call this Jurassic Park Week here at the blog. Whenever and whatever strikes my fancy about the movie - I'll yap about. So either be excited, or run away as if a T-Rex is on your heels.

But back to Bob Peck. It's basically impossible to find anything of substantial gratuity on the man with the most beautiful gams - these horribly blurry shots here are from 1991's TV movie Children of the Dragon and they are all I've been able to find. Such a shame. I need to watch Edge of Darkness, the 1985 miniseries that he's best known for (save Jurassic) - yes, it's the same Edge of Darkness that was remade for Mel Gibson to pretend he understood his own dark impulses. I have no doubt that Peck is far better.

This guy came from that time when it seemed to be an unwritten rule that all Aussie actors were required to be blond, hairy, hunky, big-bulging outdoorsmen types - Nick Tate, Paul Hogan, Jack Thompson, and even Peck's Jurassic Park co-star Sam Neill (who was a Kiwi).

The prototype was Rod Taylor.

I'm 37, first time saw the movie. All I could think about before it ended was to Google "Jurassic park shoot her"... thanks for the gift.

His legs were the reason I saw Jurassic Park 5 times.
