--- District Eleven - The love affair between director Neil Blomkamp and his adorable District 9 lead Sharlto Copley will be three for three movie-wise - Copley's signed on to star in Chappie, the next movie from the director, which is being called a "sci-fi comedy in an unusual setting." Okay.

--- Rain Dance - I stumbled upon the second half of The Truman Show on TV a couple of weeks ago and got totally sucked into it, as one does with a film that stuffed with greatness - now it's Nat's turn to make it All About Truman by ending his "April Showers" series for this year on that very particular rain storm that Truman encounters. A brilliant bit of film acting from Carrey in that scene (and the whole movie, really).
--- Invisible Girl - I like Allison Williams a lot on Girls, I think she's terrific, but why do they keep casting brunettes as the very blonde Sue Storm? Does no one remember the uncanny horror that was staring into Jessica Alba's blue contacts?

--- Perky Pop Quiz - Since you're here I assume you're an expert on this sort of thing - go take this quiz on male celebrity nipples and lemme know how you do! I got 13/15. I sailed through the first 13 like a pro (it was creepy how quickly a couple of them came to me) but the last pair stumped me.
--- Sing Judy - There's nothing quite like an interview with an actor without a filter, one who's willing to speak up about the difficult sets and the difficult people they've encountered with intelligence and self-reflection - yeah that's pretty much Judy Davis in a nutshell. Love the bit about what it was like working with Woody Allen again.
--- And Speaking of Woody, Emma Stone and Colin Firth have been officially announced as the stars of his next movie, which will be set in Paris. Colin Firth is too old for Emma Stone, yadda yadda, I am just saying. Head this one off at the pass.
--- Mutant Man - It's just the back of his swooping head of wolf-man hair and one broad shoulder but hey look it's the first picture of Hugh Jackman on the set of the next X-Men movie via Bryan Singer... I dunno, it's kind of hard to get excited about Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine again at this point, innit?

--- Mr Vice Guy - I think I missed the news that Joaquin Phoenix had taken over the lead in Paul Thomas Anderson's next flick Inherent Vice - I was still thinking it was going to be Robert Downey Jr., which I naturally hated. This is great news! Also good news - the movie is going to start shooting this month.
--- And finally, I seem to remember the trailer that I've already seen for the "Eli Roth versus an Argentinean Chilean earthquake!" movie Aftershock as being really super bloody, but now they're touting a new gory red-band trailer, so perhaps there's more to see here? I haven't watched it yet. You tell me.

I was 13 for 15-I missed Stephen Amell and Paul Walker. I would know Taylor Lautner anywhere.
isn't Aftershock based on the Chilean earthquake and not Argentina?
Chappie is South African for chewing gum so the "unusual place" may be inside a human body.
Yes, Chilean, sorry! I've done that like five times, I keep getting it confused. Thanks, anon.
