Say Me, Say Rudd

.
I hope that Paul Rudd and I can mend this broken thing inside of our hearts. Ever since This Is 40 filled me with seething rage it just hasn't been the same between us. I don't have high hopes that Admission, his movie out today with Tina Fey, is the one that's going to do it - even though it's from director Paul Weitz it looks bland as Tapioca Pudding: The Movie. (Less, even - it would take an odd gumption to make Tapioca Pudding: The Movie that would lend the project an immediate fascination, one that Admission lacks.) So come on, Paul - remind me why why I love you! Clueless 2, you say?

Head over to Celebrity Beehive for my thoughts on a few of the movies coming out today - why yes, I do imagine a scenario involving Gerard Butler and Channing Tatum oil wrestling for our amusement, why do you ask?

Paul Weitz, not Chris.

Right on, fixed it. It seemed like too many Pauls at once!

The movie is predictable, not funny, frustrating and not at all what I'd expect from Fey. Also only 2 brief shirtless scenes from Rudd, and only half shirtless really. Thumbs down!
