Today is the terrific actress Glenne Headly's 58th birthday. Just recently she was on Parks & Rec playing Adam Scott's mother, but I have loved her since 1988 when she starred in two movies I watched the shit out of back then - Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Paperhouse (see more on the latter here). I was looking her up on IMDb and I saw she starred in a third movie that year - something called Stars and Bars. I looked it up; it's a comedy from the director of Circle of Friends and Sweet November, and it stars Daniel Day-Lewis in what appears to be his only real comedy role? The scene above is of DDL and Headly together; the movie is available to watch on Amazon Instant. I have not seen it, have any of you?
