You know that saying, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it"? Yeah I wish I were that lucky. My fate is even worse when it comes to Michael Bay movies. Because I can remember everything - every wasted second of my life that this man's horrible horrible movies have stolen from me; every leaden ounce of dialogue; every big ugly ejaculation of tackiness. I remember them all.
And yet every time a new trailer for one of his movies arrives I still find myself thinking, "Oh goodness that looks dumb, but......
maybe fun?" It happens every time! I don't know how he does it. And then I watch the movies, and it takes about fifteen minutes (at absolute most) for it to sink in, how he's yanked the football out from in front of me again, trickster trickster dirty filthy feather-banged trickster!
