The Blogger That Dreaded Remakes

The 1976 serial-killer-thriller The Town That Dreaded Sundown is getting remade. You know how I sometimes get all bent out of shape when a remake of a horror movie is announced? That is totally not happening this time! How thrilling for us all. I only saw the original this past January, but in my review I noted that half of TTTDS is very fine, and half of it is bunk, and it's a film that would benefit greatly from being remade. And here we are! My words make things happen. (Ha if only that were true I'd be rolling in Powerball right now.) Anyway I really hope that in the checklist of Things We're Keeping From The Original, the word "TROMBONE" is prominently featured.
