Well in the audience's defense if I were sitting down to write a picture with William Holden so blatantly flauting his chest hair like seen above the actors would be forced to make it up as they went along because he would never get his fingers anywhere near that typewriter as long as I were still physically able to drag him onto the floor and have my way with him.
Unf. Billy Wilder's masterpiece (one-of-many) Sunset Boulevard is finally getting released onto Blu-Ray today - there are many many reasons to own it, but William Holden's chest hair's as good as any. See more here and here.
