I do know, Claire. I do know. A very happy 54th birthday to Charlie Kaufman today. True story - I had no idea it was CK's birthday today last night, but I decided I needed something "feel good" to watch so I picked, what else, this movie. Because nothing says "feel good" like ruminations of death and misery! I actually do believe that though - this movie's more honest and decent in its insane way than any smiley tripe. Here's my old review of the film. I've only grown to adore it more with each passing year. I hope he can get Frank or Francis made soon.
