Always watch where you're driving, kids! 

I know you're looking at that and you're thinking to yourself - "Oh my god I've got to rent this movie right now! Also, I will need nachos! And have I called my mother lately?" First things first, you really should not go rent this movie right now. It is awful. Everything that Alexandre Aja got right with the first one, this one - directed by Feast's John Gulager - bungles. Where the first one was snappy, trashy fun this one feels long at 83 minutes and has no characters worth giving two tits about, and leaps headlong past trashy into "I think I need some penicillin now."

It does have a couple of inspired moments - the above obviously, which is made all the better by the fact that David Koechner (now a Ways Not To Die staple with this and getting melted by hot oil in Final Destination 5) is going approximately 2mph on that golf cart... nevermind the fact that those flags are not made from razors! WTF squared. Anyway there's also some gruesome hijinks reminiscent of Teeth that keep you momentarily on edge. But the movie wears out its welcome with an air of laziness that oozes from every frame.

But then it does have this too...

Basically I could spend awhile going back and forth like this. I'll be over here doing that, while you go buy some nachos and call your damned mother already.
