A happy 40th birthday to Idris Elba! Something tells me his forties are going to treat him well. Very well. I had hoped to find a video version of the below picture...

... but I still haven't watched Luther so I have no idea which episode that's from. I suppose there are always future days, especially ones where we'll want to gaze upon Idris' chest. (Wisdom.) What I did find however was maybe even better - a new photo of Elba and Charlie Hunnam in Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim... and they're touching.

I know they're supposed to be shaking hands, but since it's a moment stuck in time I'm reading it as them holding hands. Naturally from there Idris yanks Charlie into him and they go at it hardcore, et cetera, et cetera...
