Give Me Yorick Or Give Me Death

.
Well this is happening again - Vulture is reporting that New Line loves the latest draft for their film adaptation of Brian K. Vaughn's really really terrific Y: The Last Man comic series, and it's suddenly a high priority for them - so much so that they're making meetings with directors. I can't remember what the last plans were - if they're thinking single film or a series of films or what; I really do think that Yorick's story would benefit from some long-form storytelling. Hell I think it ought to be a TV show a la The Walking Dead. (Only, you know, not consistently aggravating and shitty.) Anyway if they do make a movie I do recall we all agreed that Joseph Gordon-Levitt's who they need to cast. (Although if they take any longer he's gonna be too old.) As long as we're off the Shia thing...

Speaking of Brian K. Vaughn though, anybody been reading his latest series called Saga? I have all the issues so far piled up on my dresser but I haven't gotten to it yet.
