A very very happy 65th birthday to Stephen King. I thought about making a list of my five favorite Stephen King movie adaptations but if I were honest it really wouldn't be that surprising - Carrie, The Shining, Misery, Shawshank and either The Mist or Apt Pupil... or The Running Man... or Salem's Lot... Oh goodness, there is too much to choose from for that fifth spot. Can you imagine a world without Stephen King? I don't even want to. That's scarier than anything he's ever dreamt up. Thank you for the nightmares, Uncle Stevie!
