Hey it's Aussie director and silver fox Baz Luhrman's 50th birthday today! I was going to celebrate by making a list of my five favorite hot guys in Baz movies but I realized that for all of Baz's gayish temperament he doesn't tend to exploit his menfolk in precisely that way. I mean sure Paul Mercurio's dancing pants are very tight in Strictly Ballroom and nobody's gonna argue that it was nigh impossible to fall right under Ewan's blue-eyed spell in Moulin Rouge, but when it comes to proper gratuities... well there's Hugh Jackman taking a shower with a bucket in Australia, and then there's whatever else. So I focused on that! Hit the jump for a buncha gifs.
I was going to post the video but YouTube bans it because of copyright so this will have to do. But I think this will do. Indeed this way uis probably better since we get all those Nicole Kidman and doggie reaction shots edited out. Nothing but Hugh!

I watched Australia for the first time today because of this post. It wasn't nearly as bad as its critics suggested. By no means great, but enjoyable on the whole. The worst part is Jackman is only sans shirt maybe two scenes. Disappointing no doubt.
