Well there that is. Chloe Moretz posted those pictures to her Instagram last night - I guess that's how these things will be done now? I think if you're gonna go youthful with your marketing Carrie isn't a bad property for it, anyway.
A couple of things, and I'll start out unexpectedly nice. Moretz has good crazy in her eyes. I believe that crazy. I really like the way they've patterned the blood on her face too, kind of like one of those doggies with one black patched eye.
I wonder if Chloe has the wherewithal to have slept covered in the blood for continuity's sake like Sissy did, though.
Also: Does Chloe Moretz have man hands? Discuss. My biggest question though - is Carrie's dress red? ("It's pink, Mama.") It's awfully saturated with blood, if not.
Speaking of Mama - Juli, you carry on.

I don't really want to comment and further anybody's -- f'rinstance a blogger's -- unhealthy obsession with this remake
BUT
Doesn't Julianne Moore seem all wrong for Carrie's Mom? I don't want to see a version of Carrie where I can't all-out hate on the Mom. Isn't she meant to be the biggest monster of the story?
And here is Julianne Moore looking all vulnerable and sympathetic. (Has she ever played a really hateful character? Can't think of one.)
