I Am Link

.
--- Phoenix Sighting - A slew new pics from Paul Tom Anderson's The Master popped up online over the weekend, with some good looks at Joaquin and Amy and the rest. Insert oh my god stuff this movie in my face commentary here.

--- Road Warriors - AICN has a bunch of cool shots of the sorts of apocalyptic vehicles we'd expect to see on the set of a new Mad Max movie from the set of the new Mad Max movie. Can't wait to see Charlize Theron riding on the hood of one of those, buzzed down to just a ponytail, kicking ass in spiked leather pants. Okay I have no idea if that's something that'll happen, but it's in my fantasy bank stowed away anyway. Tom Hardy wears something similar, only sluttier.

--- Ass To Mask - We gave the "slasher centipede" drawing of Stacie Ponder's some love when she first unveiled it - well now you can wear it on a t-shirt, so you know what to do.

---  Blood Cake - Via BD comes that fun new poster for [REC]3: Genesis, the third film in that terrific Spanish zombie series which I reviewed with glee and gusto last week. Anybody else watched it on demand?

--- Half Scalped - I stopped reading Glenn's review at Stale Popcorn of the remake of Maniac starring Elijah Wood after the first paragraph because I didn't want to spoil anything for myself but if y'all don't care there it is. I'm sure that Glenn has got some good junk to say though, he always does.

--- And finally, here's the trailer for How to Survive a Plague, a new documentary about the AIDS crisis that I have heard really incredible things about. The film will open here in NY on September 21st and roll out from there - apparently this is one not to be missed. Here's its website, you can presumably find out more detailed release information through it.

Is your banner from Rebecca? It looks familiar.

Yup it's the lez-tastic Mrs. Danvers sweeping through the billowing vaginal walls of Rebecca's bedroom.

So I'm looking at that picture of J. Phoenix and thinking, "Wow, he could actually play Morrissey in a bio-pic." In fact, maybe he should.
