Take It Off, Riz Ahmed

.

I saw the trailer for Michael Winterbottom's new movie Trishna with Frieda Pinto last weekend and at the time thought to myself that I needed to cap that shot of her handsome co-star Riz Ahmed (so great in Four Lions) looking dandy whilst topless, but I forgot until just now as I wrote up my piece at Celebrity Beehive on this weekend's new releases, of which Trishna is one, so I didn't do it, until now, and there it is, I did it now, hooray me. Well hooray for all of us, really.

The only movie out this weekend that I can assuredly say you should see is Alps, the new one from Dogtooth director Giorgos Lanthimos, which I reviewed way back in March. I liked it a lot. Yanthimos is two for two, totally on "my list" now. Cue the Hall & Oates.

I'm tempted to see Red Lights, the new flick from the director of Buried aka That Movie Where Ryan Reynolds Was Stuck In A Box For Ninety Minutes, since it stars Bob DeNiro and Sigourney Weaver and Cillian Murphy and Elizabeth Olsen in a thriller about paranormal psychologists and junk, but it'll probably wait for DVD since I'm gonna be awfully busy all weekend eating birthday cake and crying, after all. Priorities!
