Quote of the Day

.
“I would say that it will be on the screen within two years.”

That's producer Frank Marshall talking about a fourth Jurassic Park movie. I've been posting about a fourth Jurassic Park movie as long as I've been posting, period, so excuse my skepticism. Seriously though I want to set aside my skepticism. There has been actual momentum as of late, with real honest to goodness writers having been brought aboard; Spielberg's on the record saying he won't direct it but he is apparently involved (aka he'll be handed a hefty bag of million dollar bills at some point), and they're insistent that the film will be a sequel, not a reboot, which thank goodness - the first film holds up perfectly well, and we all just want to get down to the dinos rampaging anyway.

I really think that Joseph Mazello ought to come back and have Tim be the main character this time. He still acts - he's in the next GI Joe movie as Mouse and he played Dustin Moskovitz in The Social Network - and he grew up well. He and Allessandro Nivola's character from the third movie could team up! You know, "Team up." Emphasis on slutty quotation mark insinuations.

Now that you have said, Joseph Mazello in the lead of JP 4 is the only way they should do it. Let Lex have a small role, too.

Totally agreed. Ever since seeing Mazello in The Pacific I've thought he should be in the next JP movie.
