... but if you had to suffer so that I could get more movies starring Greta Gerwig, I am afraid it was worth it. You'll be great on that litle TV soap! Ahem. The Playlist has the first few images - hell the first few anything, this movie came outta nowhere - from Noah Baumbach's next flick called Frances Ha, which will apparently be showing at TIFF in September. Greta co-wrote it with her stolen director slash beau, and she describes it thus: "[It's] a love story about girls. It’s a girl who’s in love with her best friend, but not sexually. It’s sort of that moment when you realise, 'Oh, so we won’t all move in together.'"I suppose it's the black and white that's at first glance making it feel mumblecore-ish to me, but it feels mumblecore-ish to me.
