Stanley "The Manly" Kubrick was born 84 years ago today, and in his honor and along the lines of the above life lesson from The Shining and because the ladies of Kubrick movies are few and far between and so never given as much love as the men, here are my five favorite performances by the female sex in Kubrick's films.
