--- Latin Lovers - We'd heard that Penny Cruz was going to be making another movie with Pedro Almodovar the other day, about a couple who have a romance on an airplane, called The Brief Lovers. Now we know who the other lover will be - Pedro's other muse, the man one, Antonio Banderas! This is very cool. It's like Woody Allen making a new movie with Diane Keaton cool. (Well, nearly.)

--- Sky Boys - That surprise David Gordon Green movie we told you about last week with Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch will have a score from indie rockers Explosions in the Sky, who are a band I always want to listen to and forget to listen to five seconds later. I know I have heard their music and I know I liked it, anyway. 

--- Dream Scapes - Slash has the first clip and several banner images for Ang Lee's Life of Pi and it looks as if this movie is going to be a real colorful treat, visually. Everybody keeps saying that Lee did amazing things with the 3D. Can't wait!

--- Call Girls - A poster and a trailer for For A Good Time, Call..., that "We are broke so let's become phone sex operators!" movie starring our beloved Ari "Balls Deep" Graynor that we heard about ages ago, can be seen over at The Playlist. I so hope this is good and Ari gets lots and lots more work.

--- Man Versus - I've never been able to take his show House, it's ridiculous in a way I find grating, not entertaining, but I don't mind Hugh Laurie. He was a good SNL host. Anyway he's going to be the bad guy in the new RoboCop movie and he's a smashing choice.

--- Radioactive Waste - Stacie Ponder (Happy birthday, Stacie!) brought Final Girl out of non-permanent hiatus for a moment to share her thoughts on The Chernobyl Diaries, a film we both shared some hesitance towards because of its tasteless subject matter. She ending up thinking it was okay!

--- Suit Up - I haven't read all of Glenn's thoughts on Battleship just yet, I keep getting distracted by the shots of Alexander Skarsgard in his naval uniform and falling into a k-hole. I'll make it through one of these times. But speaking of Alexander Skarsgard, it's a real cow-plop that I haven't posted the shots of him naked in this week's True Blood yet, innit?
