Happy Eli & Edgar Day! Every year April 18th comes around and we wish two of our most favorite directors - Eli Roth, who turns 40 today, and Edgar Wright, who is turning 38 - a happy birthday. We've never asked this question though:

There are a lot of factors to keep in mind while voting here. There's Eli's prolific fur, on the one hand. But Edgar's a better director - I say that as a staunch Roth supporter, but Edgar made Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim so he wins in a walk. They've both been taking breaks that are lasting way too long since their last movie, but Eli's gotten really frustrating on that count, like when you see him off hanging out on cupcake reality shows. That's a whole bunch of points deducted from the Roth column. Edgar's got a British accent. And then there's this to consider...

No contest. Eli has fur for days. I just want to rub my face in his hairy chest and maybe some other places.
You didn't ask who was the better director, you asked who I wanted to wake up next to in the morning, or, you know, something like that. I'll take The Bear Jew (his words) any day or night of the week.
