In a little chat at GQ with Martin Scorsese they for some reason asked his opinion on a couple of the most popular horror creatures of the current zeitgeist, and he had this to say:
"I happen to like vampires more than zombies. Well, a vampire, quite honestly, you could have a conversation with. He has a sexuality. Zombies, what are you going to do with them? Just keep chopping them up, shooting at them, shooting at them."
Something about hearing that said in Martin Scorsese's voice makes that immeasurably funny. And now I will spend awhile imagining what a Martin Scorsese vampire or zombie movie would look like.
