According to BD, the lovely and immeasurably talented Julianne Moore is in talks to play Margaret White, Carrie's Bible-crazy mama grizzly, in Kimbery Pierce's remake. She was one of the names mentioned a couple of weeks ago when we first heard that the studio was really going to go ahead and do this thing. What do we think?

LOVED her in Boogie Nights and Far From Heaven as I've likely mentioned on this site before...Will she ever win one?
I HATE the idea of a remake. HATE it. But if you're going to do it, go with the best.. and Julianne Moore is the best.
