I don't usually crow much about things I think my fellow New Yorkers should be doing since this blog be international, yo, and limiting ourselves to the happenstances of my immediate surroundings would leave so many of you, my splendid readers from other locales, in the cold. But I'm pissed off - that's right, P.O'd! - that I have to miss this suddenly-on-my-radar thing that's happening tonight so maybe somebody here in NY will go and if so I want a report! Tonight director and MNPP object of affection Eli Roth will be sitting down with Brian McGreevy, the author of Hemlock Grove, aka the horror novel he's currently adapting for a television series for Netflix (see previous post here), as well as one of the show's stars, Bill Skarsgard, aka Alexander Skarsgard's also-hot brother, for a conversation about the show and show-related what-nots. Read about it and buy tickets here. I can't go, I already have tickets to a concert, alas. So somebody else go and tell me how it is, please and thank you. If you tell Eli I sent you, he'll let you blow him. I mean, he probably would let you blow him even if you don't mention me, I'm just guessing here, but I think it's a safe guess.
