Deadline's reporting that Hugh Dancy my beloved Hugh Dancy is going to star as Will Graham, aka the guy who will hunt Hannibal Lecter down, in Bryan Fuller's show about just that on NBC, called Hannibal. Can you say AWESOME? I mean that, can you say "awesome" for me, I have swooned and am totally unconscious.
For serious though, I've read the script for this show's pilot and it's so so so good you guys, so scary and filled with deliciousness, and Hugh is a terrific choice for the immensely complicated character that is Will. This is going to rule so very hard I can't even take it.

AWESOME. The only downside is that it's NBC, so he won't be taking his clothes off much. Hopefully he'll do well in the show, and then be cast in a lot of other roles in films where he takes his clothes off. Am already excited.
Well there was some implied nakedness in the script, so perhaps we'll at least get some shadowed pleasantries...

Squee!!! Awesome just doesn't cover it. I'm such an incredibly huge Fuller fan but still wasn't sold on the idea of a Hannibal tv show and not even on a premium channel but on network tv? This info though is definitely getting me excited. Any chance you could pass along the script?
