One Ticket To The Policeman's Ball(s) Please

.

I don't watch Southland - should I? - but it appears to have become "a thing" for them to have Shawn Hatosy coming out of the communal policeman showers to then stand around in a state of exceptional undress in the company of Ben Mackenzie, and that is "a thing" I can definitely stand behind. Yes, I used that phrase on purpose. I've known Shawn since The Faculty but I never really thought he was hot until later when I went back and saw him make out with Danny Dyer...

I like this scene very much, but it seems a little ridiculous,
him keeping that washcloth in place the whole time. (caps via)

southland is a really good show for what it is actually. The only police procedural i watch. and there is a full fledged gay character though sadly it's not Shawn Hatosy

I didn't know there was a gay on it, but I do know your love for Regina King, Nat! And I share that love, but the police procedural thing has kept me away so far. But Lucy Liu is on it too, isn't she? I love me some Lucy Liu. These are a whole lot of pluses in this show's plus column at this point.

Golly, I do loves me some Hatosy.

Lucy just joined this season. It's a very intense show and it really put Regina on the map as an exceptional actor.

I do enjoy Shawn but would rather be seeing Ben.

Sean played a gay high-schooler in "In and Out," as well.

Southland is great. Only way I could enjoy it more is if Ben joined Shawn in the shower from time to time.

I don't know if I would consider Southland a procedural cop drama. It has some tropes of course but besides the opening flashforward/narration, it doesn't follow the same pattern every week. I love this show and I love this blog. So if this blog continued to post about this show... :D

Yeah, the washcloth is such a party pooper, but there's always the rest of the anatomy to enjoy.

Oh, boy, my new plaid pants, the place of the eye candy, spoils us.
