Happy 80, François Truffaut

.

Dear lord the hotness from these two is criminal, it's almost too much, too much! That's Jean-Paul Belmondo and Catherine Deneuve in Mississippi Mermaid, to celebrate what would've been Truffaut's 80th birthday. (See a lot more of Jean-Paul in this movie here. The way those shirts hugged him - gah!)

What's your favorite Truffaut movie?
I don't know if I could choose between, The 400 Blows
and Jules and Jim, or Day For Night...

I do love Jules and Jim, and also Small Change; but my favorite has to be The Bride Wore Black. Watching that, then watching the Kill Bill films...yeah...Tarantino was pretty inspired by Truffaut.
