Alright so I have now watched up through the second episode of the second series of the BBC's delightful Sherlock (see my previous posts here and here), which was the one riffing on "The Hound of the Baskevilles" (with the adorable jug-eared homosexual Russell Tovey guest-starring), and I realized upon seeing these three on screen at once that this question was begging and pleading to be put forth. Who would you do dump or marry - Benedict Cumberbatch, our insufferably autistic investigator; Martin Freeman as his ruffled sidekick Holmes; or silver-aged Rupert "Scudder" Graves (Oh Scudder!) as the policeman always at their heels? I will do Benedict Cumberbatch. If I could I would marry and have babies with his voice, otherwise I will marry Martin Freeman and become Mrs. Dent Watson Baggins Freeman. I'll dump Graves.
I have no knowledge of Mr Graves, so I'll have to be cruel and dump him. Marry Martin and do, do do Mr Cumberbatch.

Rupert Graves is too old now, so, much as it pains me, he's for the dumping pile. Sorry Scudder! We'll always have the memories. The dirty, dirty memories.
Martin Freeman is prime marriage material. It's what his entire career is based on. Although passing up a surname like Cumberbatch is a difficult decision. But I'd exhaust Benedict and return to Martin's cuddly arms. Done.
All of you people ABANDONING Rupert Graves should be ASHAMED of yourselves. He is Scudder forever and always, even if he's weathered past the prime. SHAME. I would marry Scudder, OBVIOUSLY. I would do Martin Freeman, but it would have to be a threeway with Scudder, because OBVIOUSLY. And I would dump Cumberbatch, but he can sit in the corner and watch me and Scudder and Martin freeman have our threeway, OBVIOUSLY.
Do: Graves. He's tall, he's got a commanding presence that I hope would translate into actual commanding in a sexual context, he's just good looking generally, and he's been in some damn good projects.
Marry: Freeman. He's absolutely adorable. What he (probably) lacks in sexual expertise, he can make up for in... being adorable? lol Also, I'll be having an affair with Graves the whole time, so w/e.
Dump: Cumberbatch. I think he's kind of hideous. I love Sherlock and he's a good actor but... ugh. Just no.

I'm basically judging by the characters because I know nothing about the actors, but I'll also dump Graves, do Cumberbatch, and marry Freeman, on the condition that he wear nothing but cuddly jumpers and make lots of tea.
Oh, and I'm also up to that episode, and it's still bugging me because - SPOILER ALERT - I still think it makes more sense if the therapist had been paid off by the Frankland
