While I certainly find the actor and Angelica-nephew Jack Huston attractive, a duh, I'm not sure it's the same kind of attractive that the writer Jack Kerouac had, ya know? So it seems a little weird to me that Huston's been cast as Kerouac in Kill Your Darlings, that Beat bio-pic that got Daniel Radcliffe cast as Allen Ginsberg a couple of months ago. I wrote some up on this movie's semi-tortured pre-production process today over at The Film Experience. Also joining the cast are Chronicle's Dicaprio-doppleganger Dane DeHaan and Dexter aka Michael C. Hall as the homo-cidal (ha) couple that drive the movie's plot. What do y'all think about Huston as Kerouac though?
