Freddie and her never dated. She spread those rumors all around the German press in the mid 80's. Freddie dated a number of women but by the mid 70's was gay. Not bi. Gay. Both his PA and ex PA and best friend have stated that he never had sex with another woman after Mary Austin in 1975. Freddie and Barbara were great friends and did buy a flat together but they were never sexually "together"
