Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

... you can learn from:

Sonja: To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness. I hope you're getting this down.

Do people ever mention Diane Keaton's work in Love and Death when speaking of her best performances? I don't think they do, I don't recall ever seeing it listed at least, but I'll be damned if it isn't some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen her do. So loose and goofy and totally hilarious. The bit where Woody comes up behind her in bed under the covers on their wedding night and as he touches her she says, "Not here!" had me in stitches.

Oh Jesus, when I glanced at this post, I got super excited because I thought this picture was of Tina Fey's Liz Lemon as Princess Leia on that one episode of 30 Rock.

When I watched this movie this weekend I considered doing a "Who Wore It best? " poll for Diane Keaton's look versus Princess Leia, but I figured Leia would win in a blow-out. I like Keaton vs. Fey even more though!
