Sometimes you're just chugging along, reading junk, nothing much catching your eye. You know the feeling. It's how you feel every time you come here, no doubt. Well I was just doing that over at DH and clicked here because it mentioned James Franco and sure, I'll see what that ridiculous man is associating himself with today, it might be worth a grin or a grimace. It all starts really yucky with him signing up to play opposite Emma Roberts and Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez in a comedy. Yikes. On the surface the story sounds like it could have slight possibility - it's called The Spring Breakers and it's about a gaggle of girls who rob a restaurant in order to pay for their Spring Break trip. Franco will be a drug dealer that helps them somehow. So all that information is meh, mostly shrug-worthy, not really something I'd run to see, right?
But then... then! The very last paragraph mentions that this is Harmony Korine's new movie! What the what? You start with that shit! That takes this from shit to champagne in two words flat! I will most definitely see that!
