(via) Despite the icky Tom Cruise Factor - and that's a big despite and a whole lotta icky - I'm totally looking forward to this movie. It makes me angry that Cruise was able to get Bird to sign on to direct it because I was really hoping I could avoid Tom Cruise from now until forever, but there's no way I'll be missing the man who made The Iron Giant and The Incredibles as he gets to play with bigger even high-techier toys like he is here. Plus Pegg, and Jeremy Renner!
I want to play with Jeremy Renner. I'll probably even shell out for this in IMAX because the rumblings are that the footage is mind-blowing. Damn you, Tom Cruise. I hate you so much for making something potentially awesome and enjoyable for me! Bastard!
