Alexander Payne's first full-length movie in seven years The Descendants with George Clooney is out today, at last. I've been waiting for him to come back to us for years... and it looks like I might end up waiting a little bit longer? I think I'm gonna hold off on seeing the movie until November 27th when he'll be at MoMA with it. I could see it earlier, I might cave in and not be able to wait, but after all these years I think an extra week and a half might be bearable, especially since I'll be gifted with his fine presence. Ya think? Am I crazy? Anyway I was just reading this Q&A with him at The AV Club and this question sprung to mind.
