They've released eight character posters for The Hunger Games movie and while they're boring visually they do give us the first glimpse of a bunch of people in character that we've not seen yet. Here's Woody Harrelson as Haymitch and Lenny Kravitz as Cinna:
You can see the main trio of Katniss, Peeta and Gale, plus Cato and Rue and Effie over at DH. If they're giving us Cato why is there no Isabelle Fuhrman as Clove?!? She's who I'm dying to see!

They really do look terribly alike. Hemsworth is not at all what I pictured for Gale - he needs to have longish black hair! I don't even remember if that's how she described him, but that's how he was in my head. I think Liam Hemsworth is cute and all - and he's not shy about nudity so go him - but he is not what I imagined. I am fine with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, even though he's not really what I pictured physically either.
I should've given some love to the Effie poster though because Elizabeth banks looks great!
I vote we jump ahead with a poster of Finnick in his fishing net outfit
