Happy news! We'll be able to see Ti West's horror follow-up to the delightful House of the Devil before the end of the year! By a few hours, at least. Magnet just picked up the movie, called The Innkeepers, for a Video On Demand release on December 30th, with a small theatrical run to follow they says. It stars Sara Paxton and Pat Healy as a pair of employees closing up a haunted hotel. It's supposedly a much less serious film than Devil was and aims at the funny-bone more than going for the gut-punch - Scooby Doo has been name-checked in reviews - but as such is a good time. I'll follow Mr. West anywhere.
